Hello!
The Prescott Valley LDS Building schedule has moved to the new church calendar website format please go to https://lds.org/ then click on tools, in the drop down menu there is a tab for Calendar click on it! Then in the left hand corner of the screen is the Church name below that the month and year and below that another drop down tab that says settings, click on it! Then click on reservations then you should see the schedule! Let me know if you need help or just want me to schedule for you!!

Jeeeeze... I am bad at this! So ya Max got his Eagle and now he's preparing to go on a Mission to Spokane Washington, Spanish speaking!

The Eagle Has ???



Sooo, Friday night I thought it was about time I kicked into gear with my "mom" duties and check in with my soon to be 18! year old son Max, to see what was left on his trek towards the rank of "Eagle Scout". "I'm not gonna make it Mom" he stated with no particular emotion. "WHAT?!!, Why not?!!" my mild Motherly reaction. "It's too much, there's no way I can get it all done." Again with not much emotion. Mom translation..I'm overwhelmed and I wanna play video games. I asked him to get all his stuff together so we could review an see if there was any possible way to finish(he had done so much already!).
First I made some calls to see what the drop dead gotta have the stuff in was.... No later than end of business on his birthday, Nov.14th seven days latter! So we made the plan and embarked on the voyage.
A couple more calls later and the dead line was a day earlier!! Max is starting too have breathing issues, he's sure he has an ulcer now, "am I supposed to see double Mom?" We scheduled meetings with all the merit badge counselors he needed to have sign off (5), started the final write up on the project, oh ya, we have to finish the last bench for the project too! Good thing there's no school on Tuesday!
Mom declares no TV, or Video games, and only basic food provisions until it's DONE!! "Just let me die now Mom." Max said. As we head into day 5 of the voyage. "You're almost done" I tell him."You keep saying that, I don't believe you anymore." His glazed response.
It's Tuesday night @ 11:00p.m. all merit badge work is Complete, just a dentist appointment (Thx Dr. Serr!) to finish off physical fitness Wednesday@ 7:00a.m. (Sorry Sis. Wiser!).
Max meets with two final merit badge counselors after school on Wed. the last one took 2 hours!! to review... we grab a burger fill the gas tank and head to Bro. Dunbar's to get signatures then off to find Bro. Rohrbough as he was not at the church as planned!! Found him at the Chinese restaurant got the signature and headed out to Dewey to deliver the precious note book.
Max let's me drive... as he finished the last check to be sure it's all there... he counts the merit badge cards... 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18.... 18! Now my heart has stopped!he needs 21, count again 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20,...21!! Whew.. I forge on to Sis. Vesters, the delivery of our efforts is accomplished! And now we wait... for the board of review Dec. 4th! Stay tuned!
